Students – we are having a Street Party Friday, Sept. 30 from 7:00-9:30. What is a street party? It is an outdoor activity night, with a DJ from Portland, vendors selling drinks and snacks, football games, basketball games, chalk to write on the street. It is for all Armand Larive students and their families. The cost is $5 for one or for the whole family. Family includes; father, mother, sisters, and brothers. Tickets are available in the Student Store during both lunches. If you have any questions, please ask a leadership student. You do not need to buy a ticket before the street party, you can pay at the door that night See you on Friday!

Book Author
Students: you have an exciting opportunity during the author visit next week. When Oregon author Roland Smith comes to Armand Larive next Friday, we will be hosting a dessert in the library for Smith and students before the afternoon presentations. If you are interested in participating in this event, stop by the library before next Thursday, Oct. 6th to put your name in your grade level bucket. We will draw up to 15 names for each grade level. We will have laminated bookmarks which you can get signed by Smith. And all students are more than welcome to bring any of Smith’s books which you own next Friday so you can get them autographed.
